That gossip you might have heard about a girl and a boy who ended up together because he forced him into “loving” her, is the exception. And even then he might be sleeping with somebody else.And if that married man is sleeping with you, you might not end up keeping him - even if you are Scarlet Johanson.

We spend our lives struggling to believe that even after he literally said he does not like us, we may have read the signs in the wrong way and that eventually he will crawl back to us.

No, he won’t! Stop dreamin, stop believing, stop thinking you could be for once the exception to the rule and he will be back. No matter how many times you dreamt about him, no matter if he smiles when you talk to him, remember he broke up with you and after two years he still doesn’t like.

That’s sort of the message the movie “He’s just not that into you”is leaving to us girls who still believe in prince charming, who actually think that he will be back to us. According to writers Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo - from Sex and the City - who then published the book that director Ken Kwapis (License to wed, The Office and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants) made into a movie.

The book finally reminds us : “If he likes you, trust me, he will ask you out” whereas the movie kinda sorta says that if you are Jennifer Anniston you still get to marry the guy (even if you asked him out in the first place, as the story goes), that is, of course, in fiction.

Still, a nice movie to rent with a girl friend or two. Go get the popcorns!
